Well-decomposed cow dung manure provides essential macro- and micronutrients. Deer Valley uses abundant farmyard manure annually to strengthen the soil and support healthy mango trees.

Vermicompost produced using earthworms improves soil aeration, structure, and water retention while supplying nutrients in a slow-release form for sustained orchard health.

Regular removal of fallen, damaged, or infested fruits and plant debris helps control pests like fruit flies. Particular care is taken to maintain effective orchard sanitation.

Annual pruning after harvest removes dead wood and cross-branches so sunlight reaches the inner canopy. Better airflow and sunlight penetration minimize disease risk and improve fruit quality.

Pheromone traps are used for monitoring and mass trapping fruit flies. This helps manage pest pressure naturally and supports pesticide-free orchard care.

Trichogramma, a genus of minute parasitic wasps, is used as a biological control agent for managing pests such as mango fruit borer and leaf webber.

Neem oil and neem kernel extracts are used as natural insecticides and repellents against mango hoppers, mealybugs, and other pests.

Drip irrigation conserves water and prevents overwatering, which can cause root rot. The estate uses a developed irrigation system to support healthy orchards.
